Our Story
Excellence beyond expectation, every time
A Clean Carpet Co started in 1989, and we have spent every year since serving Skagit County, from Mount Vernon and Burlington to Anacortes, La Conner, and Sedro-Woolley, plus the surrounding communities. We are a locally owned, owner-operated, family business, fully insured, and we guarantee your satisfaction on every job.
The company is owned and operated by Caleb Cate. Caleb started here as a young man under the original owners, the Bordens, learned the craft inside and out, and bought the business he had come to love. He still does the work himself, with Judy keeping the schedule running smoothly from the office. That continuity is why so many of our customers have stayed with us for 15, 20, even 28 years.
We offer truck-mounted steam cleaning for carpet, upholstery, area rugs, and tile, plus pet stain and odor removal. Residential and commercial work, all across Skagit County. We strive to be the simplest, go-to choice for all your cleaning needs.
We are known for four things: being on time, honest pricing, friendly service, and a genuinely thorough clean. We love helping our customers and making sure their cleaning experience is a great one. Let us show you why we are the best choice for your home.

What We Stand For
Known for the things that matter
On time
We show up when we say we will. Your time matters, and a clean carpet should not cost you a wasted afternoon.
Honest pricing
Straightforward quotes with no surprises. We tell you what the job costs before we start, not after.
Friendly service
You are a neighbor, not a ticket number. We treat every customer with respect and a genuine smile.
Thorough cleaning
We do not cut corners or rush the job. We clean it right, all the way through, every single time.
The region's only commercially located area rug facility
Fine wool and oriental rugs clean best off the floor, in a controlled setting. We are the only carpet cleaner in the region with a dedicated facility to do it right, and we pick up and deliver throughout Skagit County for free.
